Five Months Ago & Perhaps the End of Hibernation?

Five months ago tomorrow we welcomed this man to our world and our family.

Here he is whispering secrets with his sock monkey..

playing with one of his new favorite toys..

and getting ready to go to my sister’s house for a party today!

I actually finished a craft project today too. I started this scarf forever ago and am in the process of trying to use up supplies I have at home (part of the reducing what I spend and consume goal…). I really like the color combo.

I’m not sure if it is the end of hibernation though. I do need to get back to work since the checks won’t keep rolling in if I don’t have the product out at the stores to sell. I keep dreaming about taking off a year, but I know I can’t and I won’t. I am just uninspired at the moment. I’m not sure what I need for inspiration… any ideas??????

Mr. almost five month old needs his dinner now. Maybe rice cereal and mushed sweet potatoes will inspire my creativity?

How many times can I say it without sounding strange? Your little boy is so darling. I just love his sweet little face. :)

Scarf (&tshirt!) are awesome. I am at a craft standstill myself. I really want to make a bunch of stuff but don’t seem to be able to actually do it. Hmmm. I did make a list, that’s something, right?

    Happy New Year!!

Great scarf! And adorable shots of Henri as usual. The sock monkey picture is painfully cute.

I find that I’m personally incapable of getting inspired when I’m trying to find inspiration. I never find it when I’m looking for it or when I think I need it. It just comes randomly and then I embrace it head on. I know this doesn’t help at all, ha! I was super burnt out for awhile there and I think I found the inspiration I needed in words from my husband and craft scraps i happened upon. Sometimes that’s all it takes, I guess. Weird.

I can’t believe how much changes when you haven’t seen someone for a couple of years!
