A Lot of Catching up to Do!!
Well hello everyone! It has been FOREVER since I have had a chance to get on here. First, we switched servers which actually took quite a bit of doing, so I have to give a big thanks to Jerome for dealing with all of that.
Now to catch up!
In the past few weeks we have been busy busy busy.
There have been trips to the park while the weather is nice.

Zoe turned 10! Here she is with her build a bear monkey that my mom got her and an amazing gnome and mushroom house she made on her etch a sketch.

Henri turned 7 months (almost eight already…) and has started getting teeth, pulling himself up, and getting into general mischief.

We have also been dealing with lots of ups and downs. My father passed away a few weeks ago. He had been very sick for a very long time, and while I haven’t stayed very close to him over the years, it is still a hard situation for any family to go through.
One nice thing that came out of it though was I got to see my Uncle Robbie who I haven’t seen in many many years. Here he is with his great nephew.

My mom was also here for her and Zoe’s b-day and we went to see Joan Baez with Violet. It was Violet’s first concert and while I don’t think she was thrilled to sit with a bunch of old hippies (nothing personal Mom!!… no, it was tons of fun, really!!), I think she enjoyed it. We had really good seats and Joan did tons of her classics and some new ones.
Here is Amma and Mr. H

We also found out some wonderful, yet very surprising news. We are going to have baby number four this fall! We are thrilled of course, but like I said, a bit, ummmmmmmm…. surprised. Any baby is a blessing but it is a little hard to wrap my head around at the moment (well, the moments that my head is actually out of the toilet… I know, too much info….). Henri and tiny baby will be fifteen months apart. Yikes!! Darby and Zoe are sixteen months apart, but I was ten years younger!!! It was nice to see the itty bitty little heart thumping away on the ultrasound yesterday though. Made it seem a little more real. We are very early still, but I feel like sharing with the world anyway.
This has pretty much convinced us that we do need to try to sell and find a bigger home. Our house is perfect for 3, 4, even 5 people, but six would really really really be pushing it. Of course we could make it work if we absolutely had to, but we only a few projects to do and I think the house would be in good shape to try to get up on the market, and it’s a great house for first time home buyers. Man, I wish we were first time buyers with all the incentives out there! Jerome is going to build a small front porch to replace the current cement step and has been working like a mad man to clean up the brush for all the spring bulbs to come through. I really hope it doesn’t snow because I have flowers about ready to bloom!
ANYWAY, Mr. Man is hooting away upstairs, unwilling to stay on his morning nap schedule so I shall go play with him now.
I’m glad to be back to blogging and who knows… perhaps someday I will even be back to crafting!!
Hope everyone is well.
xxoo
