The first birthday went great. We had a little ‘mini’ party with the big party coming in a couple of weeks.

I didn’t have time or energy to make cupcakes, so I stopped at Daisy Cupcake and picked up a lovely assortment of yummies. They were pretty good, but a little drier than I like. Still, they were a hit!

Henri wasn’t quite sure what to think of his cupcake, but eventually he decided to give it a try.

By the time he was finished, he was very excited.. much more than the girls! They all had a nice time though.

Now for the big party to plan, the house to finish getting ready for my mom to come, a big family reunion, a wedding, then school starts!! yikes… We did decide to keep the girls where they are for school. After many debates I decided that things can never change if we all just whine and complain and aren’t willing to help make the changes. While I do feel the private school would probably get them a little better education, I do think that if all of us (kids, parents, school) work harder, and work together, we can make some changes and get our kids the education they need and deserve. I really hope I made the right choice..

I did finally get my new business and accessory cards in the mail and I am loving them. I have tons of orders to fill and stores to restock and it will be so much easier having all the cards ready to go.

That being said, I better get to work! I have appointments to go to today too, so no slacking off… well, maybe a little.
