If you would have asked me years ago if I would ever be the mother to four kids, it would be unlikely that I would have answered ‘yes’, but I couldn’t imagine life any different. Well, maybe a little less fighting with the big girls and a little more sleeping!

The girls are off of school for a couple of days (right as Darby is getting over the flu… of course..), so we are trying to enjoy it. Yesterday my sister came over to help me take the kids to get pumpkins but then it started raining.

Sooo, we ended up at Borders for cocoa!

The girls had some treats and Henri and I shared a treat. He loves people watching and was happy to be out.

Luna was super excited about her first trip to Borders too..

Well, she was actually a little dissapointed in me that I forgot my coupon and couldn’t buy ‘Tempted’.. .man I love those cheesy books (Mom.. did you order it??).

She was, however, SUPER excited that I finished her pumpkin hat.

I have to break down and learn how to use circular needles though because the seam looks weird on it…oh well. We did find her a tiger costume too she can wear that to help me hand out candy.

In other kid news, Henri is officially walking!! Zoe was playing with a ball with him last night and kept stepping back away from him so he would have to walk to get it from her and he totally walked across the kitchen. He has had the skills to do this for a couple of months but is finally getting the confidence. Watch out world!!

Jerome let me rest (sleep is a stretch… I don’t sleep well.) most of last night so I am actually feeling a bit renewed today. I don’t know how he is going to make it through the day though. Poor guy…. I think he deserves some warm cookies when he gets home.

I did get a chance to finish more hats and get some things listed on Etsy too. I am finishing up holiday wholesale orders as well but there is only so much I can work on upstairs while watching the little kids, but usually I can sneak in some knitting. Well, until Henri decides he wants the yarn…

Well, Henri is at book club with Grandma (fine, library play group.. hehe..), Luna is napping, and the big girls are still fast asleep so I shall put on some water for tea and work on bracelets for awhile. Oh, and of course light my pumpkin spice candle!
