Phew! That is a lot of pics…

Our Christmas was perfect. We started off Christmas Eve at the Verhoeven homestead and had a lovely time, then we headed home to get to bed so Santa could come.

Christmas was spent at home with our family and the Boraca / Richardson’s (my sis). I made a rib roast and rolled turkey breast and Felina brought tons of delicious treats. A great day…. We even owned a dog for about an hour! This old chocolate lab wandered into our yard and our neighbor took him in until he could reach animal control. He was old and sweet and looking rough but I knew I couldn’t let him to go animal control on Christmas~ But, they did end up finding his real home, so that ended well. Of course now I want a dog. NO!!!! AHHHH!!!! Get that crazy thought out of my head…

The kids were spoiled as always, but I kept to my word and did not buy one single electronic device for them! Fine, I did buy some games and an extra dance mat, and Felina got them Wii Resort…

Yesterday Jerome and I got away for a little bit while Aunt Jenni and Grandma watched the little ones and the big ones were at their dad’s. We are possibly looking for a new tv, but we are having a really hard time with it, because we don’t actually NEED a new tv and we really really want to get into a larger house that fits our family better. Well, I do more than Jerome, but I think he does agree with me, mostly. I have never met anyone in my life though that is so grateful for what he already has. And, our home is perfect, but perhaps just not for a familiy of six. Anyway, the tv money could go into the savings as we desperately try to save up a down payment, but it was a gift, so… well, we’ll debate that later.

I hope everyone had an amazing holiday and I am looking forward to 2010. What does the new year have planned for us?? I can’t wait to see…
