Our Home
I finally hooked up my camera port, so here are a couple of starter pics on our new house.

First off, a not very flattering, I’ve been up all night packing and living off of junk food picture of me in the front yard.

One of my favorite views. My window box over the kitchen sink looking into the back garden. My gnomes are anxiously lined up ready to be deployed on their next mission. Or just to sit and look cute and keep me company while I sip my chai.

The rest of the kitchen. The woman we bought the house from brought the tiles back from a trip to Mexico. I love them. It is a smallish kitchen, but Mr. DIY engineer extraordinaire is plotting a way to mount the table to the wall and have it pull out with a bench. I’m letting him look at benches at flea markets, but that’s as far as that idea may go… we’ll see.

Here’s the living room. A nice little spot for chatting with friends, drinking too much wine on a Saturday evening (as anyone who had the pleasure of being around me on Sunday morning knows…), or maybe even watching a Netflix that we have had way too long.

And, last but not least, part of the garden. It is so beautiful that there is no way I can give it justice with this little picture. We have basil and many other herbs growing along heirloom tomatoes, raspberries and pear trees. There are also many flowers and misc. grasses. There is also a little rusted out shed that Jerome and I have grand illusions of tearing down next spring and building a shed / mini mini barn outbuilding. The garden is great though and goes right through to both neighbors houses with one of them sporting a huge tree swing and blow up pool.
I feel so blessed today. I have a perfect little home to grow old in with the ones I love, warm coffee in front of me to sip, and get to head off to my job that although it isn’t very financally rewarding, has given back more to me than I could have ever dreamed.
Have a wonderful Tuesday everyone and enjoy the fall breeze in the air.
