Craftacular Recap and Monkey Business
Wow, I can’t believe it has taken me a week to recap the Valentine Craftacular! It was the best Valentine show yet and so much fun.
The amazing goodie bags were gone in about ten minutes and I didn’t even sneak one for myself, which was hard!

I managed to get a few good pictures of some of the booths. It was a little tricky because of the lighting though.

So, now I guess it’s on to planning a summer show? Hmmm…..
I did finally catch up with my friend Suzy too. She was Zoe’s kindergarten and first grade teacher, is mother to one of Violet’s close friends, and an all around amazing woman. When Henri was born she knit him a Totoro hat and this time around she made an incredible monkey hat for Luna!
I LOVE it!

Luna is taking silliness lessons from Henri I think…. Thank goodness she is starting to sleep more and only sleeps in her bassinet now so I don’t have to craddle her in my arms while we sleep!
She did have a naughty influence on me the other night though at the craft store. She convinced me to get all of these (well, actually about five times that many….)

Oh FINE. She just sat in the cart and giggled and cooed… but, she didn’t STOP me from getting them! I have some fun project ideas up my sleeve though and I was rewarding myself for working a whole week on organizing and cleaning the house. I still have some of the basement and studio to finish up and then I will get pics up. I have decided though to do the most I can with our tiny castle and turn it into a magical place for all of use. First on the magical agenda is to get rid of clutter and to ‘have nothing in our home that we do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful’ – William Morris.
I did work on our room too and finally organized my jewelry so I can start wearing it again!

I did get a chance to list of my goods on Etsy this morning too including these.

Oh! And, in the midst of all this craziness it was my sister’s birthday so I finally got a chance to catch up with her and give her the birthday gifts I made for her. I included these (some of her favorite things)

and also a gift certificate for NetFlix. I am an addict and thought she may like to become addicted as well.
Well, it’s time to start some soup for dinner, finish the last load of laundry (it’s truly phenomenal how much laundry six people go through…) and run errands. Then the girls and I have to do some shopping for Darby since evidentally she has outgrown almost everything she owns! She will be taller than me very shortly here…
Have a glorious week everyone and hopefully it won’t take me another week to check in!

Wonderful smirk Luna! I wonder what she’s thinking? If she is anything like her sisters and cousin Violet, she’ll let us know soon enough. Can’t wait to see you all, xoxoxooxoxoxo momacita
