Back from Chicago!

September 17th, 2006 9:09 pm by Naomi in Big News

Renegade was wonderful. Super duper. More than I could have hoped for. We hooked up with some great new friends and will soon be carrying plush by Jenny Harada, and also probably Shawnimals, as well as many new other connections!

We met lots of wonderful customers, and I met a few of my own crafting idols, including Heidi Kenney of My Paper Crane and FINALLY got a plush donut! I was pretty good with my purchases, but had to buy a couple little goodies including a little ninja plushie for Zoe and a Seam Ripper pouch for Darby. And, of course, a Renegade owl poster for our living room.

Now, I must go to bed. The online shop is a little wiped out right now, but don’t fret!!! New stuff coming this week!

Thanks for all the support everyone.

We love you all!

xo Naomi

    I’m fucking beat!
    But, Renegade ROCKED!!!!!
Naomi’s right, we met some great customers & artists.
We got caught in a storm, ate too much, got over-heated, shopped, sold our asses off, drove for an hour to a 2 star hotel & ate at Barnaby’s Pizza! WOOHOO!!!!!!
all & all it was a great weekend. Shout out to Jerome & Kurt. We couldn’t have done it without you. Thanks for putting up with us.
    xoxo Miss H

My good gal’s trying to make a fool out of me
Yes, my gal’s trying to make a fool out of me
    Trying to make me believe
I ain’t got that ol’ TB.

When it rained down sorrow it rained all over me, Lord, Lord
When it rained down sorrow it rained all over me, hey
    ‘Cause my body ripples
Like a train on that old SP.

I got that old TB, I can’t eat a bite
Got that old TB, I can’t eat a bite
    Got me worried soul,
I can’t even sleep at night.

I’ve been fightin’ like a lion, looks like I’m goin’ to you
I’ve been fightin’ like a lion, looks like I’m goin’ to you
    ‘Cause there ain’t nobody ever
    With the TB blues.

Gee, but that graveyard is a lonesome place, hey, hey
Lord, but that graveyard is a lonesome place
They put you on your back
Put that mud down in your face…
