Little Gnome

March 18th, 2007 7:27 am by Naomi in Day to Day at Glitter

This is one of my favorite reconstructed cards. My other favorite was this huge squirrel but he went to a new home a couple of days ago.

I had a great visit with my mom while she was here and am now trying to get caught up or possibly even ahead for some upcoming shows I have. On April 7th I will be at Warner Park for their spring show then I will be in MN for the St. Paul Craftstravaganza and I will also be doing an earth day show that Jessica from Wanderlost Clothing (one of my newest consignors as well as a veteran Craftacular vendor) is hosting. I will get more details out to you all about that soon but I know that she is still looking for one or two local people who do recycled / earth friendly / reconstructed goods. Let me know if you are interested and I will forward you some info.

I’m also working on some amigurumi animals and magnets that hopefully I will have done soon! Emily has been so patient with me teaching me to crochet. I learned back when I was in 4-h (yes, I was a country bumpkin… hell, I suppose I still am….) but haven’t done it in years. Crochet does seem to be so much more open to interpretation than knitting and a heck of a lot quicker.

Time to start some coffee and enjoy the day.
