Elsie Update #2

She’s a little fighter & is still hanging in there.
The bad news is she developed Kidney failure caused by IAMS contaminated pet food. Kurt & I are still trying to sort out everything but, we still have 10 cans of the contaminated food. What breaks my heart is, we had been feeding her the food ever since she got sick on Feb. 21st. If they had only put out the recall at once……
So we have been spending as much quality time with her as we can & since we are choosing to treat her at home with our Vets supervision, she has a good quality of life still.
We are now pretty much making her food for her, so at least we know she’s not eating any more Rat Poison. Bastards!

hang in there. my cat went through the liver failure and came out of it happy and healthy again. we fed him liquid through a tube in his neck ever 3hrs for 2 weeks. vets told us not to bother, that he had a 90% chance of not surviving. that was 7 years ago. it IS all worth it!
