My Garden

July 23rd, 2007 9:14 am by Naomi in Day to Day at Glitter

Just a little peek into my garden. This isn’t the best pic since it is so small, but we have gypsy peppers (yumm… Jerome grilled them stuffed with Italian sausage and cheese with our shrimp cook off), tons of lettuce, a crazy cabbage that Darby started in school, melons (well, vines at least… we’ll see what we get), beans, tomatoes, and cucumbers. Oh, and little pumpkins which are also very good at spreading their vines, but we’ll see what the outcome is.

This also happens to be about the only green part of the lawn. It has been really dry here but we just can’t see wasting water on grass. I get so annoyed driving through all the fancy neighborhoods with sprinklers going all day long. Blech.

I also found this in my garden

Oh fine, I didn’t, but I am obsessed with crocheting little fake food goodies. I think these may become magnets and pins and then leave some for just play food. What do you think? Any ideas??

Can I get one of those strawberry plants? ;) I’d like to grow some of those…

…what about keychains? I’d like one of those on a keychain.

What a beautiful garden and I LOVE the metal chair. It looks like a great place to sit and have a glass of tea.
