Emily and I have been busy unpacking boxes and displaying all the new stuff coming in (including the Damned Dollies above!) to start getting ready for our Gallery Night Open House next Friday.

I also received a package from Paper Relics including these adorable Halloween cards.

Speaking of Halloween, I finished another Kitty Hat and this one definately has a touch of Halloween.

Oh, and I did manage to scrape up one Renegade pic thanks to my friend Sarah from I Like You (another adorable handmade haven up in Minneapolis). I was debating putting it up because I have a really weird look on my face and there is some unknown (yet lovely and very punk) lady in it, but well, here ya go… the booth is already looking a pit picked over and the photo was from day one!

Time to go start thinking of dinner. Thursdays are swim class night, which means early dinner, early homework, stressed mama. I have been fighting allergies / sinus infection / crabbiness for over a week and I’m tired. I will be getting away for a few days with Jerome this weekend though so that might be just what I need. We are going to go up to his parents cottage on Lake Michigan for the weekend. No computer, no tv, just us. Our twins were due on Sunday (the 30th – for anyone who didn’t know, I delivered them stillborn on May 19th. Their names are Charles and Molly) and I think that spending just a little time focusing on just us will be nice. Of course I do hope to squeeze in a bit o thrifting. There are all kinds of antique malls and thrift stores on the way up that the girls will never let us stop at.
