Just a few quick pictures of some more treasures I have for you.

I just found out a few days ago that another one of my favorite local businesses (and great source for antiques) is closing. I can not stress enough how important it is to support local and independent business. Especially in this day and age when it costs $20 to drive across town to the big box stores, why not look around your neighborhood? You would be amazed at the little treasures that are so close to home.

If you can not shop local, then shop indie! While the internet sure has it fair share of downsides, it has opened up a world of oppurtunity for us small business owners. Even though you can not meet the person, you can still get a feel for their business and their products before you even buy (especially thanks to all of our crazy blogs!). Etsy has also opened up a whole new world for indie businesses. If you don’t have the time or desire to randomly search the web, it is a great place to shop handmade.

Speaking of local business, it is time for me to get on over to mine!
