Thank you!
December 16th, 2007 9:15 am by Naomi in Day to Day at GlitterWe had an amazing open house yesterday. Thank you so much to everyone who braved more snow and freezing temps to come out and say hello and do some local holiday shopping.
I have to give special thanks to Ms. Emily Kircher , gift wrapper extraordinaire. She helped me almost the whole day with checking out customers, wrapping gifts, talking me out of ordering chips with my lunch…
I also have to give a HUGE thanks to Lisa for driving all the way up from Rockford in the snow to come hang out and show us how to needle felt!
I even made one myself in between running around. It’s my very first attempt, but I am pretty happy with this little guy
.
He loves to hang out in the girls’ gingerbread houses.

The girls have yet again outdone themselves (my mother in law as well.. she makes all the house walls first from patterns she makes… even the bell tower!) on this years houses.
Now that the shows are done, open house is done, our tree is decorated, the stockings are hung (thanks Jerome!!), it is time to just finish some orders, take a deep breath and enjoy the magical time of year. I think I am going to squeeze in cookie and candy making tomorrow. I am probably crazy, but I always think it sounds like a good idea and I have adorable tins I need to fill with something for neighbors and family!
Happy Holidays everyone and thank you.
