I’m so ready

Does anyone else feel like this is the longest winter ever? And is it really only January 11th??? Yikes.

Well, one good thing. I officially finished all my 2007 book work and it is ready to off of to my accountant extraordinaire. I have had the same accountant for probably 12 years and she is amazing. I’m still doing my books on a paper ledger and most accountants would think I was crazy but she knows exactly the crazy chaos that is my book keeping. The funny thing is, that shop wise, everything is computerized. Our inventory, consignor reports, everything. The only thing stuck in the 19th century is me. But hell, it works for me!

So, I haven’t really been doing much except for sorting receipts all week. Fun fun.

Jerome has been much more crafty than me lately and we have some really super cute Valentine coasters almost done as well as restocking some faves such as Where the Wild Things Are. We (don’t you like how I keep saying ‘we’ like I’m actually helping??) also have new scents for soy candles coming and some other surprise goodies.

Time to head off to the post office and probably take a nap. All I want to do in January is eat and sleep!
