That’s right, THIS Saturday is the High Noon Valentine Craftacular! It’s just one day from 10-4 so stop on by!!

I have been trying to keep up my production to gear up for the show and finally pulled out some of my jewelry supplies. I haven’t made ‘fancy’ (sterling, crystal, etc) jewelry for such a long time that I was worried I had forgotten how, but I ended up with some really nice pieces and actually sold most of the earrings already, so it’s back in the studio for me! I’m lucky though that I have tons and tons of supplies that my mother gave me from when she ran a bead and jewerly gallery for a friend of hers a few years back.

I have to thank everyone who came out on Saturday to show so much love and support. I had a phenomenal day at the shop and even though people are generally sad to see the shop closing, I reassured them that between the website and our local (as well as out of town) shows, we’re not really going anywhere!

In family and baby news, I took the girls in for an eye exam since I realized that it’s been a while and they both got a clean vision bill of health and tomorrow they go in for their physicals. I think eveyone may finally be on the mend! We also got to hear our little hummingbird at the Dr’s office last week. The little flutterbug was flying away at 170 beats, but she reassured me that was just fine (it was 150 at our first ultrasound). I guess maybe I shouldn’t have snuck that half a cup of coffee before my appointment…. hehe… We have an appointment Friday for another ultrasound and by then I will already be at 13 weeks. Some days it seems like time is flying by, and other days (as I lay on the couch exhausted with ligament pains and heartburn ALREADY), I realize, holy crap, I have a looooong summer ahead of me.

So, hop on out to the Craftacular on Saturday and see all the new goodies that I will have, along with all the other great vendors!!! Oh, and wish me luck on Friday. I’m sure everything will go well, but I still find myself walking on eggshells some days.
