A Very Special Order
These little bluebirds are getting ready to fly away to a cancer center whose mascot is the bluebird. I was very humbled to make these for them.
We’re still plugging away to get ready for the St. Paul Craftstravaganza this weekend. I finished this up a few days ago.
I also have some more yard pics for your viewing pleasure. My yard has definately reached it’s spring peak! Does anyone know what these little tiny blue flowers are??
Some type of ground cover I imagine, although Jerome is convinced it is just a crazy weed. Either way I love them!

Looks like scilla. It’s not a weed– it’s actually a bulb. People plant it to naturalize areas, in fact! But it spreads like crazy. I really like scilla– such cute little blue flowers.

That makes sense! The woman we bought the house from was really into wild flowers and restoring the land. They are everywhere, but much nicer than grass.

Those little blue flowers are violets I believe. What a fun site. Fellow crafter here saying keep up the great work!!

Violets look like that in Canada. The colder climate stunts some flowers. They’re really pretty whatever they are.
