Catching up

Geesh. Haven’t been too great at keeping up with this!!

We have a couple events coming up. This weekend we will have a booth with Emily (recycling artist) at the Madison Country Day School Rummage and Craft show. It is open to the public on Saturday, January 28, from 8-2 and will be at 5606 River Road in Wanakee. This is a small show to support the school and our local communities.

Next, Emily and I have spontaneoulsy decided to have a Valentine Craftacular at the High Noon Saloon on Saturday Februrary 11 from 11-6. We heart the High Noon and have to give a great big shout out to Cathy, the owner, for giving us not only a great club, but a great venue to showcase our crafts and drink at the same time! This is going to be scaled down a bit from the July Craftacular and Mad Christmas show, but should still be great fun. We are also still looking for a couple people who might be interested in vending, so drop me a line if you are interested.

It is also almost our one year anniversary!!! Happy Birthday Glitter Workshop!!!! The Glitter has gone through many many changes in this first year, but we are growing constantly, and are even seriously working on getting our online shopping going, thanks to Mr. Webmaster himself, Jason. I appreciate all his work so much. Even if neither him nor Heather will show me how to add pics to this damn thing!! ; ) We will be having a party, of course (any reason to party is a good reason as far as H and I are concerned), so keep your ears and eyes open for details. I’m thinking probably the weekend of February 3rd, with an open house, sales, Valentine activities, strippers… well, fine. maybe not strippers…

Time to rock out to Cindy Lauper and get some crafting done.
