Treats

May 21st, 2008 11:01 am by Naomi in Day to Day at Glitter

I had to run out to the store this morning for a few items and to get a new co-op membership. I had one a while ago, but of course let it run out, and although I think I can use one I have for a different co-op, they always get super confused when I use that card.

SO, I bit the bullet and paid for a lifetime family membership so I don’t have to worry about it. While I was there I picked up yummies to make for lunch and just made up a big bowl of pasta salad (a staple around here for me in spring and summer) and balsamic beets and grabbed some ginger brew. I love ginger brew!

Across the street from the co-op is one of favorite cafes, Lazy Janes. For some reason I actually had cash in my pocket and decided I was just going to treat myself, so I popped in and got a delicious strawberry croissant and a latte. I would like to say that I am watching caffeine, and I TRY, really, but sometime… well, the temptation is too much.

Here is today’s new product.

I’m working through my pile of plush scraps and felted sweaters. Right now they are piled in Little Man’s room, and I really need to get working on that! We do have a cradle and I picked up the diapering system at the co-op, so at least he has somewhere to sleep and poop. Really, what else does a baby need??
