Pretty Little Things

I am very happy with the way these flower fairy coasters turned out. I love how the resin makes them so shiny! I have always been a bit taken with fairies. I no longer have tons of pictures of them or quite the obsession that I once did but I still like to imagine them flying about our garden when no one is looking.

When the girls were younger they used to build little houses and furniture for them. They even built a bathroom for them to use since they were concerned our toilet was just too big for them. They still believe in many things, perhaps even fairies. I hope they hold on to this innocence and beauty forever.

I was all ready to complain about my frustrating insomnia, my annoyance with UPS, my general discomfort… but when you have pretty little things surrounding you, you really have to savor it.
