Many New Tricks

A new Seuss frame as well as a couple more storybook bracelets
I hope everyone had a great weekend. Ours was filled with BBQ’s, friends, and way too much food!
I did find these two creatures roaming around the garden.
They are definately having the school is almost out so I don’t really care attitudes going on. Zoe has just pretty much decided she is done with third grade, which I have informed her she certainly IS NOT yet and Darby just counts the minutes each day until she can run to the park with her friends. We are lucky to have fun little parks on each end of our block within screeching distance and I have finally decided this year that they are old enough to go there without an adult as long as they are in a whole group.
It was over 80 degrees yesterday so they got to jump around in a little pool at the neighbors and have water balloon fights. Water always makes kids happier! I am trying to convince Jerome that we should get a good size pool for the backyard this year. It will kill most of the grass probably, but OH WELL. The city pool is pretty pricey, not to mention super super crowded and you can not swim in the lakes without the chance of catching something nasty.
I did promise Jerome that I would share this with all of you.
While I do see the irony in it, Jerome is obsessed with the fact that it is ridiculous to pour $6 a gallon milk over Cocoa Krispies. You see, the problem is, I love them. I won’t buy them myself so I require my family to be enablers. This box for instance my sister picked up for me a few days ago. She said she had to run to the store quick after the BBQ and I threw in ‘ hey, pick up some Cocoa Krispies for me, ok?’ Which she did. Maybe once little man is born I will stop eating them. Maybe not…. Of course I try not to let the girls eat them. Not only because they are MINE but because they just really are not a healthy breakfast option!
Oh, and congrats to the two ladies who left Cram Cream comments. I decided to send you both a little pack of goodness!! I will contact you for mailing addresses.
Craftacular related, I have extended the deadline for swag bag donations. I had so many people contact me that they really want to donate stuff but were worried that they could not get it here before the show, but pretty much I would love the donations any time before the show. Contact me for details at naomi@glitterworkshop.com.
Well, I guess the long weekend if over for me as well. Back to work!
xxoo
