So Heather is not exaggerating. I freakin LOVE sparkle podge. She is the one who turned me on to it, so I completely blame her for my addiction. As much as I love the chemical smell, I am sad to say I do not get high on it. Cancer glue on the other hand……. I spent five minutes looking for my toothpick that I apply it with, only to realize it was in my mouth.

Sparkle podge now adorns my jewelry cards, our business cards, my favorite pair of jeans from wiping my hands on them….

This is not craft related in any way, but I like sweets. I ridiculously love sweets. I love Krisy Kreme donuts. So much that I risked not being 20 minutes early to pick my kids up from school just to pick donuts up (so I’m a little over protective OK? I’m going to be one of those mothers escorting their kids on their dates…. ugh.) And yes, Heather dear, I have glazed for you. And why, oh why, is there no Dunkin Donuts in Madison. I mean what the hell!

Speaking of sweets, I need to pre-thank our friend Michelle for making some cupcakes for me for Friday (yet another reason to attend our birthday bash!). She made some for us all for the Atwood Henhouse Productions show and oh my god….. Emily and I practically raced each other to get to the cupcakes. Michelle is making little coconut cupcakes tinted pink with parousels for me. I am counting down the minutes…..

One other crafting supply that I am obsessed with is yarn. I have yarn coming out of my nose. My house if full of yarn. Glitter is full of yarn. My trunk is full of yarn. I am on a quest to ball of my yarn and nicely organize it in rainbow order and put it in the nice little bushel basket thingy I have for it. It will be done by Friday. Even if it kills me dammit……. and yes, I do knit. Do I knit a lot? no. Do I make incredible sweaters and all the coveted Stitch and Bitch patterns? no. I make little hats. and little purses. and wrist cuffs that no one can somehow understand what they are for…..

Wow. I’m rambling. Too damn much coffee and sugar….. back to my macaroni and cheese and ‘Kim Possible’ (my angels are home from school early today).
