Glitter Girls

So after a twelve hour day, and many, many glasses of Riesling, here is Heather and me in all our glory. The birthday party was a lot of fun, and it was so nice to see friends, family, glitter customers and artists all together chowing down pineapple cupcakes and drinking PBR! Thanks especially to Miss H for not leaving me anywhere near the mess I was anticipating this morning!

Tomorrow is the Valentine making party from 11-1, then on to the Craftacular countdown! Don’t forget to visit us next Saturday, Februrary 11, from 11-6 at the High Noon Saloon.

Also, if you visit the Glitter this week, or the Craftacular, you can sign up for our awesome Valentine drawings. We will have three grand prize gift bags filled with donated goodies from our artists. We have already received incredible goodies from Mr. Pickles, Allymoon, Janessa Lazon, Insaciable Creations, Evil Kitty, Flying Fish Gallery, Whimsie Cards, Paper Relics, Pidoodle Designs, Saddle Soaps, and of course Glitter donations including a scented cupcake pin, ‘where my bitches at’ coaster, barrette set and bottlecap necklace…… and there are more coming! Thank you to everyone who donated! It is great to be able to reward our customers a sampling of what we have to offer.

One last special thanks goes to my sister and my mom for the beautiful roses, and to our wonderful awesome incredible, super friend, miss sacia. Sacia knows that Heather is in love with all things lamb related, and that I have a spooky obsession with garden gnomes. So Heather and I rush into glitter (two hours late….. the damn dollar store will do that to you!!!), to find our whole front counter filled with stuffed lambs and garden gnomes as well as a wonderful card and curly ribbon!!!!! It was soooo sweet. All these great people remind me every day that the stress and chaos that comes from owning your own business (as well as nooooo money), is all worth it.

xxoo Naomi

  1. Hi Miss H and Miss Naomi!!! You two look so CUTE!! Congratulations on the one year anniversary. I wish I could have been there :( You both have put so much hard work into the store. I swear it is by far the coolest store of it’s kind out there anywhere! And boy do I miss shopping there!!! Love, Jen
