Hidden Talent

July 15th, 2008 9:12 am by Naomi in Day to Day at Glitter

Did you know that gnomes are artists?? I didn’t. I knew they were good at some things, like gardening.

In case you didn’t catch on, I listed a few more gnome coasters! There are a few more kittens and cats including this little pudgy tiger stripe kitty.

I also have a hidden talent. Well, or maybe it was just good luck.

Jerome thinks it is pretty funny how proud I am of this, but I have never in my life had an African Violet that re-bloomed. My mom bought this one when she was here in March and low and behold, it’s blooming! It is the little things that make me happy I guess.

I finished washing all of Henri’s new clothes and bedding yesterday and found a rug, lamp, cd player (I love playing music to my kids) monitor and a few other things we needed so I think we are in pretty good shape. I even packed his bag for the hospital! I guess being at home with not a lot to do (well, lots TO do, little I CAN do) motivates me a bit.

Now I am going to go outside for a little while before it gets too hot and try to tackle a few weeds from the tropical jungle we call a yard. I do love the chaos of the perennials and herbs, but it is out of control, even for me!

So, tell me, what are your hidden talents??

I recently was able to get my African Violet to re-bloom and re-bloom did it (I have never seen so many flowers!). I know what excitement you are talking about. It is the best feeling!

I am a (kind of) local lurker and just had to say hello. I think I may have commented before but I’m not sure. Anyways, Henri’s room is just adorable. I loved all the getting ready for baby stuff. :)
