Time Flies
Well, time hasn’t exactly been flying these past couple of weeks. I am sooo ready to not be pregnant anymore. At my appointment this week they were pretty certain that they would ’see me next week!’. And, they think he will be an over eight pounder too. Darby was pretty tiny, a little over six pounds, but Zoe was over eight. It’s funny because now Darby is really tall and Zoe is my munchkin (she would probably smack me if she saw me write that….).
Speaking of my munchkins, I have been sorting through pictures the past few weeks and found this one which really made me a bit teary eyed as to how fast time does go by. This was taken probably about five years ago.
This one I took this morning on the way out to run errands and pick up a few last minute supplies for their big Florida vacation.
Geesh! We had to pick up some shoes and Darby is almost the same size as me and will probably be taller than me in another year or so. I have also been going through some of their cds to find some that Henri can BORROW. They were quite adamant that he could listen to them, but they were still their Kenny Loggins Return to Pooh Corner (best kids cd ever) and Sesame Street cds. I like to sit in the rocker and listen to them while I watch the girls in the pool with Jerome after dinner. Of course, half the time I burst into tears, but hey, I’m a BIT hormonal, ok??
Not much to show on the craft side. I have restocked Absolutely Art and Anthology should be loaded up this weekend with more coasters and some Dr. Seuss goodies. Unless, of course, I am giving birth. Of course, Anthology is on the way to the hospital… so Laura and Sachi, I’ll drop them off either way… hehe..
I did list a bunch of bargain coasters though that I am clearing out for $3. They are either discontinued designs, or ones I have had a while. They are up in the shop. This is one of my faves.
Like I said, my little muffins are leaving for Florida tomorrow. They will be gone for 10 days with their dad and grandparents. They are visiting cousins in Sarasota and then going to Disney World for the rest of the time. I am so excited for them! I have never been there, but I’m sure they are going to freak out. I do not envy grandma and grandpa for having to sit with them during the drive though! Yikes. They also informed me it was up to me to have their brother here when they got back. I was a little worried that they would be upset if they didn’t get to come see us at the hospital, but nope. They said it is just fine, and trust me, it would be FINE with me too.
Send some ‘hurry up and go into labor vibes’ my way. ok???

C’monnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn, Baby Henri!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wishing you lots of happy, good, pain-free, wishes and vibes. :) xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
I love Kenny Loggins Return to Pooh Corner too! What good taste. And even thinking of us on the way to the hospital?! My mental image of that was a nice amusement for my morning. But I’m already feeling nostalgic about “baby” Lily not being a baby… ok, she’s 10 months old, but still — that time sure is a tricky thing. Anyway, I wouldn’t mind using “picking up coasters” as an excuse to see baby Henri, who I’m sure will be here any minute now. We’re all waiting for you Henri!
Oh I am so not looking forward to those last few weeks of pregnancy. Here is hoping Henri makes his arrival sooner than later! (try and stay cool, summer and 9 months pregnant never equals fun and comfort I know!)
So excited for baby Henri!!
And what adorable photos of the girls!
