Things I am Loving

August 29th, 2008 9:52 am by Naomi in Day to Day at Glitter

Sometimes being a crafter is tricky work. When I have the time to create, I am trying to restock things I already do. That doesn’t leave much time for coming up with new projects.

Last night I was making more bits and bobbles fabric barrettes to drop off at Anthology when I thought ‘Huh! Those would look good on button bracelets!’. I really like the way they turned out and have so many fun fabric scraps to use up anyway! So Anthology, no fabric barrettes today, but I think I will bring by the bracelets to show you! I’m hoping if all my wee people behave, I am going to attempt to go down to State St. with them today. Yikes!! Going downtown is always a production for me, for some reason, and especially now that all the students are back in town… we’ll see!

I was treated to breakfast today by my chefs. We had bagels with salami (a fave since childhood) and fresh fruit. Yum! I let them make a fort to sleep in last night so they were happy ladies.

Here are two more things I am loving….

I went in the workshop to try to get some production done last night and when I came upstairs Jerome and Henri were reading all about Henri’s development at three weeks, while Henri hung out in the Baby Bjorn. Like I said, Jerome was pretty darn excited that Hankster (as he refers to him) was big enough for the carrier! It will be super handy.

Time to get everyone dressed and see where this exciting day takes us!

Please tell me you’ve printed a copy of the picture of Jerome and Henri for Paul and Marci! What a Fathers Day card that would make. Love you all muchly, see you soon,

We love those things too! So sweet to see your family in person at the shop, and… oh! isn’t it sweet to see a Dad with his baby?! Anyway, we love your fabric button bracelets and I already sold the gnome one (within 3 hours of being put on out on the sales floor). You are so clever!
