Dumb Ass Snaps!
March 29th, 2006 8:58 pm by Miss Heather in Day to Day at GlitterSo I’m trying to make these vinyl cuffs, which require me sewing a straight line & putting on snaps

I’m a dumb ass. Or the people that make these are. It’s a toss up at this point.

i’d help ya out, but as you know, i can’t do many things in a straight line, much less conquer a tool…. maybe with the combined glitter brain we can outsmart it!

I agree - those snaps are pure evil! I can“t ever get them to work, it seems. Me likes buttons!

Besides the dang snaps, I love the cuffs!! I have the same Animal Rummy cards too and I made magnets outta them. My favorite is Bouncy Bear. :) Rock on!

Those snaps work great but you have to manually push the prongs ALL the way through the fabric. The push tool is good but i push the outside of the fabric too. While you have the push tool in the prongs, use the egde of the scissors and push down on the outside of the prongs. I also use a oak board, covered on one layer of cotton, to push on and hammer the back on. Hope this helps, Cathy
