DIY Recap

We are back, safe and sound from our trip to Chicago and it went great! The show had really good attendance, and although people certainly weren’t making as many impulse purchases, it ended up being a very successful show for us.

I did remember to even snap a pic of my booth, although by this time it had definately been shopped off a bit.

The day started off well, although very early. Grandma and Grandpa V came to get Henri, who seemed a little confused, but it sounds like he did GREAT. Well, at least that’s what they told me….

This was the sunrise on the way out of town.

Absolutely perfect.

The rest of the day went smoothly, especially considering that Jerome had borrowed his bosses Garmin so we didn’t even get lost finding the fieldhouse.

All in all, a good start to the holiday shows.

Today we are cleaning out some old displays since i have my new ones, and I have three very nice displays for the taking if anyone is interested. Here is a picture, although it doesn’t give the best details.

They are all freestanding. The plastic one is on a spinner and has adjustable pegs, one is made from an old window screen with wire and clips to hang things and the other pink one is pegboard with cup hooks on the side. They have all served me very well over the past few years, but I just don’t have space to store all the displays. Please contact me if you are interested in any of them at naomi@glitterworkshop.com and arrange to pick them up. Second hand stores will not take them as donations I don’t believe, so please help me keep them out of a landfill!!!

Enjoy the perfect autumn day all of you local peeps…..

Yay! I’m so glad it all went so well yesterday and that your little buddy was just fine. :) Your display looks so pretty!

    Seriously,
Henri was a VERY good boy, he is pretty easy going little guy overall….and all it takes is one of his smiles to wrap us around his finger!
BTW, his grey and blue blanket got left behind…remind me when you visit.
    Love,

    Grandma

I love your display, it is so pretty!

I would be interested in the ink display for hanging artwork if you would like to email me!
