Craftacular Recap
I have to say THANK YOU to all the amazing vendors and customers who came out on Saturday for the Craftacular. Even with the snow and ice, we had a line forming at the door by 9:30 for the doors to open at 10.
I did manage to squeeze in a few pictures…(.oh, and vendors, if you got any good pics can you forward them to me for the Craftacular page?)
Here is everyone setting up.
And, here is one of shoppers.
I had so much amazing help, including these two.
Henri adores his new Kangaroo pouch from Happy Bambino…
I have to thank Marci and Paul, Jerome’s parents too. They helped out so much this weekend. Paul helped us with all the tables and room layout, as well as hanging the huge banner, putting out signs, and greeting people all day on Saturday and Marci was on full grandma duty helping me with Henri (she is quite a crafter too… I can’t wait to show a pic of the sock monkey she made!!).
It was an enormous amount of work, and I can’t say that I am sad it’s over, but I feel very positive about the amount of shoppers and the feedback I have received from everyone.
Saturday is my last show of the year. I will be at Lazy Jane’s Cafe for the Second Annual WIST show from 5-9 so stop by and grab more Glitter Goods! I am in the process of listing tons of new stuff online this week, so there is still time for online shopping as well.
In the midst of all this chaos, some little man turned four months old! Here he is in an amazing My Neighbor Totoro hat that our friend Suzy Grindrod made for him (it’s one of my favorite movies of all time….).
I squeezed in a little knitting on Friday night and made him this holiday hat as well.
This week I will be sipping cocoa, making gingerbread houses with my favorite ladies (I miss them!! – they are at their dad’s on the weekends…), and probably doing some knitting for the show on Saturday. I am also going to be finishing my very last Christmas shopping (down to one gift to get… and only a few left to wrap) and restocking my consignment and wholesale stores so they are set for the rest of the shoppers.
Thanks again, everyone, for being so supportive and buying handmade. xo

It was a great show! Thanks for organizing it. Everything looked so festive and fun. There were a lot of talented crafters and artists who participated. I look forward to this show each year. Thanks again!
You guys did an AMAZING job!!!! I just wish I cold have been of some help, damn Midwest lousy weather……next time : D
It was such a great experience and I had a wonderful time. Of course, the weather could have been a little bit more accomodating, but that’s winter for ya:)
Okay. That santa hat is just a little too cute. You made it in one night?!?
:)
It was great! Thank you so much for all your hard work, you deserve a break now!
