Wow! I can’t believe that the Craftacular and Craftstravaganza are done already!
Both shows went really well. Well, I guess the Craftacular went well… I’m sure most of you know that I fractured my food and sprained my ankle about ten minutes after the show started. Woops. So, I spent the show in urgent care, but Jerome stepped in and ran the show beautifully, I sold a bunch of glittery goodies, and I got great feedback from vendors and shoppers alike!
Last Saturday Jerome and I headed to St. Paul for the Craftstravaganza. It was a ton of fun and we sold an AMAZING amount of merchandise. Minnesota really does know how to support indie craft. I also have a new wholesale account and two new consignment accounts from contacts I made at the show! More info on those to come…
Here are a few pics of our booth:

Since I definately outsold my expectations, I treated the kiddos to a gift (I also treated myself for my b-day and mother’s day…).

The cats I got for Darby and Zoe, the lion for Henri, the booties and hat for Luna, the skirt and gnome house for myself, and the girl gnome keychain is for Esther. Well, for her keys anyway…. Jerome picked something fun out too but I can’t show it yet because it is for a gift!
Here’s the small ones enjoying their gifts… well, Henri is telling me to be quiet because his lion is sleeping, but I think he is enjoying it!

Now we are moving on to the Confectionique market this weekend, the Stoughton Artist Open House next weekend, then Constructor Craft Fair June 6th, THEN we head to New Mexico! Phew! Somewhere in there I will sleep! Well, maybe just nap…
I am going to leave you with a picture of an amazing German restaurant that Jerome and I stopped at in Camp Douglas on the way to MN. Being about three quarters German, the yearning for sausage and beer runs through my veins and this place did not fail. It was the perfect start to a perfect weekend. And, the best part of the past two weekends? Well, the selling was great (and much needed), seeing crafty friends was great, but most of all, spending time reconnecting with my husband was spectacular. I am one lucky woman and sometimes you just need to really remind yourself how lucky you are, even if the time is spent selling headbands and not telling people how you make your coasters….
I leave you with the German Haus…
